A Fit and Healthy Pregnancy
It is important to keep a cautious eye on the the food you eat while pregnant. Sure you can live by the “I can eat whatever I want” policy, and it certainly has its benefits; but after the baby had been born it can take years to get the weight back off.
Eating in moderation is just as important while your pregnant as it is anytime in your life. Maintaining your health while you’re expecting is a good thing; not only will it manage your weight gain but also your baby’s weight gain as well. Eating too many fatty foods can cause your baby to grow larger than normal and a natural birth may not be possible if the baby becomes too large. After the baby has been born it is essential to keep your good health in balance if you’re planning to breastfeed. Your body will require almost twice as many calories to breastfeed your baby than it did to grow your baby in the womb. So how do you intake all of these calories and stay healthy? Keep it simple and keep it balanced.
Putting too much weight on while your pregnant also cause more health issues for self; your body is already working overtime to feed and nurture the growing fetus inside you, adding weight to your frame will increase your heart rate and make you lethargic. Now I’m all for getting out there and satisfying those cravings, but we need to maintain willpower and keep it in balance.
