If you are planning to have a baby, or are already pregnant, give your baby the best possible start. Miraculously, many women have an apparently health pregnancy and give birth to a healthy baby without any thought at all. However, many are not so lucky and sometimes that perfectly healthy baby has health issues early on such as rashes, allergies, ear infections etc. As an obstetrics nurse with 40 years experience in childbirth and prenatal education, I would like to encourage you not to leave the health of your pregnancy and baby to chance. Mind and Body Programs for Healthy Pregnancy

More and more individuals are turning to mind and body programs to help them during their pregnancy or in their daily lives to stay healthy. Many believe there is a powerful connection between the mind and the body, as exercise often leads to greater mental health and helps to relieve stress for many individuals. Each patient is different, of course, so results of various programs may vary. It is also important to inform the instructor of such mind and body programs of any medical conditions before beginning, as certain conditions may preclude patients from participating in certain exercises.
